The Brazos Valley Book Report is our newest initiative,  a fun way to connect with and learn from our Brazos Valley SCBWI members. These meetings will take place virtually, via Zoom, the second Thursday of every month at 7:30pm. Come prepared to discuss a children’s book you’ve read recently.

Some information you can share includes: 

• Potential comparative titles (“if you liked this book you’ll also like X & Y books”). You can come up with your own or research how the book was pitched/announced on Publishers Weekly
• How the book compares to other books by the same author
• The official book pitch or your own pitch

This event is free and open to non-members.
